Welcome to the 13th bianual ESDP Congress in Oslo!

On behalf of the Council and the Local Organising Committee, we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 13th biannual Congress of the European Society for Developmental Perinatal and Paediatric Pharmacology (ESDP) in Oslo June 15-17, 2011.
We promise you a scientific program including a wide spectrum of the recent advances ranging from Developmental Pharmacology in Neonatology to the recent priorities in Clinical Trials in Europe including the most avant-garde science in paediatric developmental pharmacology in severe disease states and multi-organ failure.
ESDP was founded in 1985 by a few paediatricians and pharmacologists. The main aims of the Society are to promote research in the field of paediatric clinical pharmacology and to offer a forum for exchanges between scientists, clinical physicians, and health professionals involved in drug therapy for paediatric patients of all ages.
The Society includes paediatric clinical pharmacologists, paediatricians, paediatric clinical pharmacists and basic scientists, and hold a congress every two year. ESDP is working on improving research and access to children`s medicines worldwide. ESDP works in association with other groups: EMA, IUPHAR, WHO.
Since 2002, the Society has had its own Medical Journal, Paediatric and Perinatal Drug Therapy. In 2009 this was incorporated within the leading international paediatric journal; Archives of Disease in Childhood (Impact factor 3.53) as Drug Therapy Section publishing original research and reviews of paediatric drug therapy and is part of the BMJ Publishing Group.

For første gang i Norge
Velkommen !
Betty Kalikstad
