Neonatal therapy 2020: latest advances and insights
March 26th 2020, at Queen’s College, Oxford, UK
Neonatal Therapy 2020 is a one-day course on the latest ideas and innovations to improve neonatal pharmacological therapy, organised by the ESPR Pharmacology Section and endorsed by the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR) and the Academic Paediatrics Association (APA).
Neonatal intensive care is getting more and more sophisticated. New techniques to measure pain, to detect sepsis, to evaluate side effects and circulatory failure are finding their place in
clinical practice. This ensures better use of medicines in critically ill neonates and paves the way towards individualised therapy.
International experts will provide an update on neonatal therapy from resuscitation up to optimal therapy during hypothermia and new drug development strategies.
